Low-energy house (building)

A building that differs from classic houses by its minimum energy consumption, i.e. within the range of 15 to 50 kWh/m² per annum. Excellent thermal insulation properties of such a structure follow namely from high-precision building procedures, innovative construction materials, and absence of thermal bridges. Building insulation properties are stipulated as per current values in accordance with the standard of ČSN 73 0540 concerning building thermal insulation.
